Biografía:
João Feres Júnior is Political Science Professor at the Centro de Estudos Jurídicos e Políticos (CCJP) of the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO), and at the Instituto de Estudos Sociais e Políticos (IESP) of the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). For five years João Feres Júnior was the editor-in-chief of the international journal Contributions to the History of Concepts. He is currently the coordinator of the Brazilian research team of Iberconceptos, a project dedicated to the study of the conceptual history of the Atlantic World in the nineteenth century. He has recently published on political theory, conceptual history, affirmative action and race relations in Brazil and in the US.
