Biografía:
Kari Palonen is Professor of Political Science at the University of Jyväskylä. Together with Melvin Richter he founded the History of Political and Social Concepts Group (HPSCG). He is currently Academy of Finland Professor, director of the Finnish Centre of Excellence in Political Thought and Conceptual Change and editor of Redescriptions. He has published extensively on the history of the concept of politics, on the principles of conceptual history and political rhetoric and on the work of Max Weber. His last book is ”Objektivität„ als faires Spiel. Wissenschaft als Politik bei Max Weber (2010).
